When Leafy Couture was invited to work alongside Spode, one of Britain’s most iconic names in ceramics, it felt like a natural pairing — flowers and fine china, both rooted in tradition and artistry.

For over 250 years, Spode has graced homes with its unmistakable designs, each piece carrying with it a sense of history and craftsmanship. At Leafy Couture, our passion has always been about celebrating the seasons and telling stories through flowers — and what better way to do so than with the soft romance of another British icon - David Austin Roses.

Their ruffled petals, layered like fabric, brought an old-world charm to the arrangement. Nestled among other seasonal British blooms, they mirrored the grace of Spode’s heritage patterns — a conversation between porcelain and petal, tradition and nature.

To share this celebration more widely, we launched a special Instagram competition — a chance for our community to bring a little of this magic into their own homes with the winner receiving this beautiful vase from Spode and £75 worth of British Blooms from us. The response was overwhelming, with so much excitement from those who, like us, treasure the beauty of British craft and design.
