An intensive floristry course designed for florists wishing to further their career in the wedding industry.
The course is run over 3 days where you will learn all about how to create WOW factor wedding florals - working alongside a curated mood board and design brief each attendee will create their own statement urn, aisle meadow and table arrangement to create a cohesive wedding scene.
As a group we will also create a floral column back drop. Two of the days will be practical culminating in a photoshoot at a wedding venue by a professional photographer with a bridal model to capture beautiful imagery of your hard work for your own portfolio, plus images of yourself with the creations. These images will be sent to you digitally after the shoot*
The 3rd day will be a wedding business chat day where we will share our 20+ years of wedding flower wisdom - discussing the wedding floral journey, do’s and don’ts of quoting, costing your work, marketing, business process’s and how to build your wedding community.
Each day will run 9:30 am - 4:30 pm and include all flowers, materials and equipment as well as refreshments and a light lunch each day. This course is perfect for individuals who have previously attended our Introduction To Floristry class and / or individuals with previous floristry knowledge or experience.

*as we will be using a professional wedding photographer there is a turn around time of up to 8-10 weeks for images however they always aim to get them to us as soon as possible. The suppliers involved in the day will also be using the imagery for their own portfolio - the venue, photographer, dress provider, hair and make up, stylist are providing their skills, products and time on a collaborative basis. Working with our wedding community friends in this way allows us to provide the best set up for your photos creating the vision of a wedding all the while maximising the amount of flowers we can provide to make for a show stopping portfolio.
An intensive floristry course designed for florists wishing to further their career in the wedding industry. The course is run over 4 days where you will learn how to market your business and create beautiful floral installations.
Day One – 10am – 2pm – Wedding Business Day
You will learn how to boost your business, marketing, using social media, how to conduct a bridal appointment, costing your wedding flowers order and business processes to make sure you make the most out of every wedding.
Day Two – 10am – 4pm – Bouquet Day
All about bridal bouquets, you will create a luxury hand-tied bouquet, a trailing bouquet, a bouquet using chicken wire. You will learn all the tips, tricks and mechanics to create incredible bouquets for your clients and how to photograph them. You will have access to very experienced wedding florists who can ask any questions you have. We will be creating using the best flowers of the season. This is a very popular course taken by beginners and also for those who may have been in the industry a while and want a refresher. It is also good for flower shop staff who want to focus more on weddings.
Day Three – 10am – 4pm Luxury Tablescapes
Experience and create a luxury wedding flowers set up, styling of a venue with your beautiful florals. You will be able to create stunning details to up-sell to your clients and gain confidence on different aspects of a luxury wedding set up. Working as a team the students will create a luxury display and full table styling which could include napkin decoration, chair backs and venue setting decoration. We will provide luxury props to make sure that every aspect is thought of. You will be able to ask any questions about mechanics and styling for your own weddings. The day will be photographed.
Day Four – 10am – 4pm – Styled Shoot & Installation Masterclass
You will create together with the team all aspects for a styled shoot including large installations. We will discus aspects of mechanics for floral columns, chandeliers and large urn arrangements. We will help you tailor them to your own clients needs. We shall look at foam and non foam options. The images will be captured by a photographer to use in your portfolio.
Each day can be booked separately or as one intensive course. If you book for the full course you will have built up so many images and mechanics over the week you will be ready to tackle any wedding that comes your way. You will be invited to join our flower school community on facebook. You will get to spend the days with likeminded people who will then enrich your life as your floristry career progresses.

As the flowers will have been selected for the class, unfortunately the class booking is non refundable or transferable if you are unable to attend. There will have to be a minimum of 4 people on the class to ensure that the class will run.
